One year of Remote Work Newsletter

Today we're celebrating. The first edition of this Remote Work Newsletter was published exactly 1 year ago, on 31/March/2023.

Hey,

I'm Sergio Pereira, and this is the Remote Work newsletter ðŸ‘‹

Last week, I shared some early data on how layoffs, AI and RTO are affecting the remote job market. Tracking 400k companies and all jobs they post is the heartbeat of the JobsCopilot.ai, which I'm launching this month of April.

Today we're celebrating. The first edition of this Remote Work Newsletter was published exactly 1 year ago, on 31/March/2023.

It's been 51 editions (ok, I missed one week when I was sick). And we've grown to 8000+ subscribers.

This is us, all around the world. Thank you so much for being here!

Remote Work Newsletter

These were my 5 favourite editions of the newsletter so far:

  1. The full story of how I landed my first remote job
  2. Helping folks in the Remote Jobs Braintrust landing life changing remote jobs
  3. A personal edition describing my work as a Fractional CTO, and how remote work allowed me this new career
  4. The most personal edition of the year, describing the injury that crippled my body for several months, and how remote work allowed me the privilege to continue my work as usual
  5. Opening the waitlist for JobsCopilot and showing the first data

Onwards for another year of writing. From anywhere. Cheers from Brazil today!

Thanks for reading this newsletter until the end. You can read all past editions here. Make sure to share it with your friends and colleagues so they can read it too.
